China Eastern Airlines 737 crashed in Guangxi

China Central Television confirmed that a Boeing 737 passenger plane of China Eastern Airlines carrying 132 people, including 123 passengers and nine crew members, crashed in Wuzhou, Guangxi on Monday (21st) on its way to Guangzhou. After the plane crashed, a fire broke out, and there was also wreckage suspected to belong to the passenger plane. 

The Civil Aviation Administration of China has activated the emergency mechanism and dispatched a working group to the scene.

The staff of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport said that flight MU5735 was involved from Changshui, Kunming to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. The system is expected to arrive at 2:55 pm on Monday (21st), and the system shows that the flight has not come in the afternoon.

Multiple flights tracking social platforms pointed out that the plane experienced a sudden drop in speed and altitude near Wuzhou.
